There's a crew. You weren't supposed to know that.
Behind every running world, someone's adjusting the levels, patching the costumes, wrangling the rigs, and occasionally setting their own foot on fire. They're called The Productionists.

They were never meant to be seen. Born from the scraps of old storyworlds, bits of abandoned game code, and forgotten UI toolkits, the Productionists operate deep in the backstage network of online worlds. There, in the scaffolded maze of catwalks, pulleys, and light rigs behind the screen, they built their own little civilization composed of equal parts film set, theater rig, broadcast tower, and virtual studio.
Glitchy
Nobody knows if Glitchy is broken or ahead of schedule. The rest of the crew stopped asking.
Glitchy started as a debugging subroutine. Or a corrupted file. Or a prank that escalated. Whatever it was, it's been running loose in the backstage network long enough that everyone's just sort of accepted it. It duplicates itself. It inverts gravity for no reason. It shows up in scenes it wasn't invited to, giggling the entire time. Whether that's sabotage or some form of help is technically still unclear.
“SKRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR—hi. Bye. I’m not technically in this interview. Or… maybe you are?”
The Crew
Each Productionist has a purpose. A calling. A craft.
Snaxx
Need a juice box? A panic donut? Tactical cheese cubes? Snaxx is your savior.
Block
The stoic, ever-watchful guardian of the backstage.
Zip
Zip knows where everything is. Nobody knows where Zip is.
Cue
When the story stalls, Cue's already five plot points ahead… and mildly panicking.
Busker
Whatever noise maker will meet the moment, Busker's got it.
More Soon
Meet more of the crew soon.
